Top 4 Resources for Young Entrepreneurs
We are often asked about resources we would recommend for aspiring entrepreneurs. Here are our favorites...
"How I Built This" NPR Podcast
Each episode features an interview with a successful entrepreneur who chronicles his/her journey. They are all fantastic stories of perseverance. Favorite episodes include: SPANX, Honest Tea, Melissa and Doug. Check it out here.
"Get Backed" Book
Detailed instructions on how to put together a killer pitch deck and find investors. Lots of visual examples. Relatively advanced content best suited for entrepreneurs age 12+. Find it here.
"Anything You Want" Book
A fun book written by the founder of CD Baby: an entrepreneur who fell into business by accident and became incredibly successful by doing things differently. Some great tangible examples and advice within. [Please note that there is an unnecessary curse word on p. 64 that we recommend you black out]. Find it here.
