BUSINESS COACH

Coaches teams of young entrepreneurs as they launch a real business.

Qualifications & Commitment:

  • Current college student or recent graduate
  • Formal education or personal interest/training in business is preferred; however, all candidates with a passion for young people and entrepreneurship are encouraged to apply
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive - does what it takes to create an incredible experience
  • Enjoys working with young people - a great role model
  • Commitment of 5 paid weeks during June & July

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Captures and communicates the Break Into Business experience to our community.

Qualifications & Commitment:

  • Current college student or recent graduate
  • Journalism, photography, communication, or similar training/experience
  • Skilled photographer who is able to take full ownership of Social Media, YouTube, and email
  • Excellent written communications
  • Enjoys working with young people - a great role model
  • Creative and entrepreneurial - loves to enhance the program
  • Commitment of 5 paid weeks during June & July

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

The Program Director serves as the the face of Break Into Business to our students, parents, staff, and venue partners. It's a critical role with significant responsibility - the ideal candidate is a dynamic and enthusiastic leader, coach, and teacher. 

Qualifications & Commitment:

  • Teaching prepared lessons that walk students through our "5 Ps of Entrepreneurship" (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, Pitch)
  • Managing the process of having 25-30 students launch their own small business (in teams of four - typically 7-8 businesses)
  • Managing a team of four college-age leaders - providing mentorship and guidance while motivating them to maintain high energy levels
  • Coordinating with our point of contact at our venue partners to ensure a seamless and positive experience
  • Communicating with parents (both ad hoc and through a daily email update)
  • Ensuring successful logistics behind our Wednesday "Shark Tank" event, Thursday Business Fair, and Friday Parent Presentations
  • Commitment of 4-5 weeks during June & July (includes 1 week of training)
